COACHING STAFF

COACH CARTER

Coach Carter began his Coaching career at a young age helping with his younger brothers teams Jordan and Taylor along side his step father during his High School years playing baseball. Coach Carter is a graduate of Northglenn High School in 2002 where he lettered in baseball 3 years, and played basketball for the Norse. He recieved First Team All-Conference Honors both his Junior and Senior Seasons as Utility his Junior year, and Infielder his Senior year, as well as All-Region Infielder and Honorable Mention All-State his Senior year. Coach Carter took his career to Arapahoe CC and Otero Jr. College as a middle infielder until he hung up the spikes after one year to focus on school. Coach Carter dedicated his time to Arapahoe CC as a Player Coach which peaked his interest and found his passion as a Coach.

Coach Carter began his High School coaching career at Northglenn High School in 2007 with the Spring and Summer teams where he was an assistant at the Varsity and JV levels. He took his first Head Coaching job at the 15U summer team of Northglenn and led that team to a 31-8 record, RBI Championship and placed 3rd in the State that summer. His Coaching career has led to many bonds with some very unique players, but his 2008 team was his most memorable as the boys really responded and trusted Coach Carter with any decision he made for the team. Most of the players from that 2008 team still play for Coach Carter today and are now signed on to Coach with the program as they return from college in the summers.

Coach Carter is single, but says that he has many students that he considers his own as a Para-Educator in the Special Needs Department at Northglenn High School. Coach says that he has learned so much from working with these amazing young people that he has learned patience, and an understanding of how to treat young people to help them succeed in the classroom, on the field, and off the field. His hopes are too see any group of young men coming through his program to learn to be positive young men on and off the field, and will go to any lengths to help them succeed. His bond with players is so unique that you cannot compare him to another Coach in the area. He loves his players and his values and philosophy are equal to a family concept and that is what makes the program and his teams very successful.

"I love to win, but winning is not everything as you can learn more from a loss. I try my best to motivate and capture postive relationships with my players and coaches so that we can help these young men succeed during their time with Elite baseball and hope to see them do special things in their future whether it be on the field or off. If you want to make it to the next level, I can only show you the path, you have to work hard and put in the effort to make it."
